Beyond Curriculum

Various co-curricular activities like debate, essay writing, speech competition, workshop and seminars are held in the college. These activities are conducted under the supervision of committees related to various fields. Sometimes intellectuals are invited to the classes to give lectures. Degree college level competitions are regularly held on the burning issues of the society. 

Apart from these, other extra-curricular activities of the college are following:

The college has two units of NSS with an enrolment of 200 students. The NSS students have to do 240 hours of general work and 10-day special camp. The objective of the scheme is to prepare students for the service of the nation. The scheme is approved by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in accordance with M.J.P. Rohilkhand University. Students of first and second year of undergraduate level are registered in the scheme on the basis of their qualification. NSS is run under the supervision of the Principal, Dr Poonam Chauhan, and Project Officers, Dr. Aditi Sindu and Dr. Renu Chauhan

The college has started in NCC in the session 2009-2010 under the supervision of Mrs. Archana.

The college is specially recognised by the university for its cultural activities. The students have represented the college at the national level and have showcased their talents. The college has the tradition of organising various national and state level youth programmes along with the celebration of festivals like Basantutsav, NiralaJyanti, TulsiJyanti, Vivekananda Jyanti and Ramayana and Gita competition. These cultural activities are held under the guidance of teachers. Some cultural programmes have also been aired by Akashvani Najibabad. A cultural come is also working in college.

Sports are necessary for overall development of students. It helps in nurturing physical and mental growth and grooming personality of the students. The college has the necessary infrastructure for sports like Kabbaddi, Badminton, Volleyball, Atheletics, KhoKho, Table Tennis, Judo, Basketball, Handball, and archery etc. Of and on the university organises college level competition in the college. The college also sends its team in various college level competitions. All these sports activities are held under the guidance of Sports Officer Mrs Archana.

The college has a registered ranger team named as SaubhagyawatiBai Ranger Team under leadership of Ranger Leader. Dr. Alka Mittal she is completely trained for it upto Himalaya wood badge (Ranger). The students get training of pravesh, Praveen, Nipun and RashtrapatiPuraskar under this unit. Students participate in Rovers-Rangers Samagam at University level and State level also.

Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Unity Day and Communal Harmony Week are organised every year.

Every year speech and debate competitions are organised at inter-college/university level on concurrent topics. The team from the college also visits other places if invited to participate.

Training is imparted to the girls on disaster management.

Inter-departmental seminars are organised regularly on topics like water conservation, female foeticide, AIDS and all current issue etc.
